This time, our adventure led us to Hohenzollern Castle, perched high atop Mount Hohenzollern, offering breathtaking views and a deep dive into centuries of history. For those of us who love hitting the road in a motorhome, the area around Hohenzollern Castle offers some fantastic spots to park up. Nearby campsites and pitches provide breathtaking views of the castle and the surrounding landscape. To ensure a hassle-free stay, it's wise to check if reservations are needed, especially during peak times.

Hohenzollern Castle welcomes visitors all year round, with opening hours varying by season.
From 10:00 AM, you can explore the castle grounds and museum, with closing time at 6:30 PM.
The entrance fees are a bit steep but worth every penny. Adults pay 26 euros, while children can enter for 14 euros. There are also discounted tickets for students and people with disabilities at 16 euros, and family tickets for 57 euros.
Hot tip: Book your tickets online in advance to save 3 euros per ticket and 10 euros on the family ticket!

Want the best view of Hohenzollern Castle? Head to the Zellerhorn summit. Park at Berghotel Zollersteighof and enjoy an easy 25-minute hike to the viewpoint. The view is nothing short of spectacular, with the entire castle laid out before you against a backdrop of rolling hills.
